Most regional media organizations positive about cooperation with Verkhovna Rada - SURVEY

The most regional mass media organizations (87%) appreciate cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

This is said in results of a survey entitled Transparency of Work of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: Regional Media Opinion conducted by the Business Technologies Development Centre with the support of the World Bank Office in Ukraine presented during the expert roundtable entitled Modern Technologies of Monitoring Content within Bodies of State Power.

The survey was aimed at the mass media organizations working outside of the Kyiv region. Respective online application forms were distributed among journalists of dif regional mass media organizations.

According to results of the survey, almost 37% of respondents have over three-year experience in cooperating with the Verkhovna Rada; 23% - one to three years and about 41% are currently at the primary stage of the cooperation.

The survey was conducted through the Internet in the third quarter of 2016.
