Andriy Parubiy congratulated Andrej Plenkovic on taking the new office and said that Ukraine "is happy to have such a good friend on such a post." The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada also said that Ukraine is fully optimistic regarding the future cooperation between Ukraine and Croatia.
Mr. Plenkovic assured of good prospects of such cooperation and invited Andriy Parubiy to Zagreb in early December. He also congratulated the Ukrainian people on another anniversary of the Euromaidan events.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that it is very important for Ukraine to see the support of its allies and added that the President of Russia is currently spending as much money in destabilization as in the military element of the conflict.
Parubiy stressed that the issues of introduction of visa-free travels to the EU and of the Ukraine - European Union Association Agreement are very important "as a symbol of our dialogue and our way to the European Union."
