The Holos Ukrainy parliamentary newspaper has published the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to some Laws of Ukraine" (as to share of Ukrainian music broadcast by TV and radio broadcasting organizations).

The Law was published on July 8. It will take effect four months from the day of its publication.

On June 22, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Parubii signed the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to some Laws of Ukraine" (as to share of Ukrainian music broadcast by TV and radio broadcasting organizations) adopted by the Ukrainian Parliament on June 16.

On July 6, President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to some Laws of Ukraine" (as to share of Ukrainian music broadcast by TV and radio broadcasting organizations).

In compliance with the law, TV and radio broadcasting companies have to broadcast at least 35% of songs in Ukrainian within 24 hours, as well as at least 35% of the total number of songs broadcast between 7:00 and 14:00, and between 15:00 and 22:00.
