Verkhovna Rada Committee for Transport hosts roundtable to discuss access of vehicles to road traffic

In his opening speech, Chairperson of the Committee Yaroslav Dubnevych called on the roundtable participants to discuss the issue of reformation of technical regulation in the field of vehicles in compliance with the international Geneva agreement of 1958 Ukraine has joined.

Mr. Dubnevych noted that representatives of different institutions, non-government organizations and scientists took part in the elaboration of respective draft law No. 4683 "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in field of motor transport" (as to bringing these legislative acts in line with respective acts of European Union). He noted that following the submission of the draft law for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada and after its consideration by the Committee, it received remarks from the Main expert department, Ministry of Interior Affairs, Antimonopoly Committee, Association of International Road Transport Carriers of Ukraine, and transport enterprises.

The participants in the roundtable were people's deputies, representatives of ministries, institutions, non-government organizations, and scientists.
