Committee on agrarian policy and land relations recommends the Parliament to adopt as a basis draft law on amendments to item 2 of section II "Final Provisions" of Law of Ukraine "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine"

Draft law №4523 proposes to revise the provision
on the liquidation of public joint stock company "State Land Bank" set
in Section II «Final Provisions" Law of Ukraine "On amendments to
some legislative acts of Ukraine" of 17.06.2014. In particular, it is proposed to the Cabinet
of Ministers of Ukraine instead of " liquidation" of the founded by
it public joint stock company" State land bank" to take measures on its " reorganization
or privatization."
As noted in the discussion, the alternative of liquidation of the bank
there is its reorganization or privatization in order to sell the state parcel
of shares of the Bank to potential investors (authorized capital - 120 million
USD), that is attractive from an economic point of view, as this will enable
not only to refund up to the state budget, at the account of which the bank's
capital was formed, but attract more investment in the agricultural sector of
Ukraine.
