Draft law (№4553) provides for amendments to the
Code of Civil Defense of Ukraine, Laws of Ukraine "On local state
administrations" and "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" on
the allocation of management functions in the field of civil defense.
As it was noted during the discussion, the adoption of the draft law will provide an opportunity to clarify the functions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and SSES of Ukraine on a unified state system of civil defense, to determine the heads of Civil defense of Ukraine, cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, districts, districts in the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, regional center, cities of regional and district meaning, central bodies of executive power and subjects of economy. This should have a positive impact on the efficiency of the unified state system of civil defense.
