On June 1 parliamentary hearings were held on "Vocational training as a part of providing qualified personnel potential of Ukraine: Challenges and Solutions".
Opening the hearing, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oksana Syroid, in particular, stressed: "We have put carrier-technical education under threat of destruction. But carrier-technical education - that's what people want, because without such kind of education there would be if no seamstress, mason, carpenter, worker in factories".
Events were with the participation of leadership the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii during a meeting on Monday with the Speaker of the Seim of Lithuanian Republic Loreta Hrauzhynienie, Marshal of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland Stanislaw Karchevskyi and members of the Presidium of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly noted that the support provided by Poland and Lithuania, is "the most powerful and important."

Committee on human rights, national minorities and international relations jointly with the Committee on foreign affairs and the center for civil liberties held a "round table" on "Justice in the area of ??ATO and prospects for ratification of the Rome Statute of the ICC."
During the event there was a public discussion of analytical reports prepared by the Center for Civil Liberties on investigation of crimes in the area of ??counter-terrorist operations related to violation of fundamental human rights on both sides of the armed conflict, as well as functioning of the courts, who had to leave the occupied territories for areas controlled by Ukraine.
Committee on taxation and customs policy considered the amendments prepared for the second reading of the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the exemption of pensions and recommends Parliament to adopt it as a whole.
The Committee on industrial policy and entrepreneurship agreed with the proposals of President of Ukraine to reduce the deficit of ferrous scrap in the domestic market.
Committee on social policy, employment and pension discusses and recommends Parliament adopts the draft law that will provide recalculation of pensions for deportees and other victims of political repressions in Ukraine and the draft law that would guarantee early retired women a decent standard of retirement pension.
Committee on financial policy and banking recommends Parliament to adopt the draft law on financial restructuring in the second reading in general.

Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine took part in the 62nd spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, held on May 27-30 this year in Tirana (Republic of Albania).
The delegation members people’s deputies O.Skrypnyk and Y.Bereza took an active part in the discussion of the report "Two wars of Ukraine: the defense of the independence and the implementation of real reforms" and expressed their vision of some of its provisions.
Co-chairman of the inter-parliamentary friendship group Ukraine-Italy Serhii Alekseev during a meeting with members of the Italian national delegation in OSCE PA and its leader P.Romani in Rome, where he stayed with other Ukrainian parliamentarians stressed that "to talk about the elections in Donbas can be only after the ceasefire and settlement of the situation. "
Members of the Ukrainian delegation also noted that for a quick establishment of peace in Donbas it is necessary to extend sanctions against Russia.

In Parliament, opened the exhibition "The way to a dream - the contribution of emmigrants from Ukraine to the creation of State of Israel."
The exhibition consists of 54 posters of original design, dedicated emigrants
from Ukraine who in different times, starting from 1880 to 1948 took an active
part in the creation of the state of Israel.
On International Children's Day parliamentarians were presented with a dance flash mob and a manifesto of Children's dreams.
