Briefing participants of the Fifth National prayer breakfast of Ukraine declared mutual intentions of Ukrainian, European and American politicians to unite

The parliament held a briefing dedicated to the Fifth national prayer breakfast organized with the participation of deputy of inter-faction alliance  "For spirituality, morality and health of Ukraine", which brings together parliamentarians who share traditional moral and spiritual values. According to people's deputy Pavlo Ungurianu, coordinator of the event, through prayer breakfast policy politicians of various levels begin to increasingly aware  the importance of measures that unite managers from different political forces around spiritual values. "

Today's event took place in the context of the words of the President of Ukraine PetroPoroshenko: "The adoption of Christianity formed the basis for the unity of our country, became  a powerful impetus for its political, legal, cultural development, facilitated integration into the circle of European nations.

The promotion of Christian values ??defined social progress of the Ukrainian people, creating in the minds ideals of goodness, justice and mercy.

I am convinced that the way to build a strong, economically strong, democratic, European state we will go with confidence and firm faith.

May God watch over us all and Ukraine. "

According to people’s deputy  Olga Bogomolets, this measure is positive relating  the joint efforts of policy makers around the world in establishing good international relations.

According to foreign visitors, it has become a tradition that in Ukraine, as well as around the world, such events patronized by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada. "It is good that the national prayer breakfast involved deputies of Ukraine, government officials, diplomats, parliamentarians from European countries, the United States, leaders of Christian churches and religious organizations in Ukraine. It will serve as a spiritual union of politicians, promotion and strengthening of Christian faith among statesmen" - they said.

 

Note: the national prayer breakfast - a long tradition of many democratic countries. For over 60 years they are in the US, giving birth to a similar gathering in the European Parliament, Germany, Norway and many other countries. These measures serve as a place of spiritual unity and understanding of leading politicians, government officials, diplomats, businessmen from all over  the world.
