On May 18 members of the Committee on Budget had a meeting with representatives of the European Parliament's Committee on Budgetary Control with Chair of the Committee Ingeborg Grassle at the head.
At the meeting were present First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee Vasyl Amelchenko, Committee Deputy Chairperson Serhii Melnyk, Chairpersons of the subcommittees Oleksandr Horbunov, Kostiantyn Ischeykin, Ivan Kulichenko, Committee members Petro Vanat, Andrii Derkach, Serhii Rudyk, Mykola Skoryk.
The meeting was also attended by Vice Chair of the Committee on Budgetary Control of the European Parliament Derek Vaughan, Committee member Joachim Zeller and Head of the European Union Delegation in Ukraine Jan Tombinski.
During the meeting they discussed the progress of reforms carried out in Ukraine, the effectiveness of the use of funds provided to Ukraine by the European Union, cooperation with the EU in the implementation of such programs, as well as important issues of public finance reform and other spheres of public administration.
