At the beginning of the briefing after the meeting of the Conciliatory Council of heads of parliamentary factions and committees, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii said: "Tomorrow the law on amendments to the Verkhovna Rada Regulations elaborated along with the Needs Assessment Mission of the European Parliament headed by Pat Cox will be registered and I hope we will be able to use these amendments to make work of the Parliament more effective."
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also noted that "there is a huge amount of legislative acts requiring rapid consideration. We have to set priorities."
He said: "We have picked 13 draft laws we need for further cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. One of the draft laws is the legislative act on taxation of pensions and raise of social standards."
