Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice Serhii Alekseyev has taken part in the roundtable on Ukraine held with the participation of members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons — upper and lower houses of the British Parliament.

He said that Britain is interested in Ukraine and the events taking place in the country, however, the information they receive does not cover real situation there.

According to Alekseyev, the participants in the roundtable discussed the Minsk agreement, amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine touching the decentralization and justice, anticorruption reform.

The people's deputy informed that after the roundtable he had a meeting with Ukraine's Ambassador to Britain Nataliya Halibarenko in London. In particular, the parties discussed the necessity for better coverage of the course of the Ukrainian reforms in Britain.
