On April 20-21, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Affairs considered the issue of the preparation (under a shortcut procedure) of the draft law No. 4197 "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On State Budget of Ukraine for 2016," which was adoption as a basis on April 12, 2016, for consideration in second reading.
The draft law offers to:
- introduce a state budget subvention for regional budgets of Donetsk and Luhansk regions for restoration of social and transport infrastructure facilities, housing stock and their maintenance on the territory of the said regions. The offered subvention is worth UAH 2,387,624.5 and UAH 886,020.1;
- define the balance of funds of local budgets of population centers where bodies of state power temporarily do not fulfill their duties as the source of formation of special fund of the state budget to assign the said subvention.
As a result of the consideration, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Affairs approved the decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt the draft law in second reading and in principle as the law in its final wording in a form of the comparison table offered by the Committee to the draft law.
