The Family, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism Committee recommends that Parliament passes, at the Second Reading, the Bill on Amendments to Clause 11 of the Law, 'On Support of Social Formation and Development of Youth in Ukraine'

The Bill (Reg. No. 0888) proposes to complete Clause 11 of the Law with provisions on the relief of interest payments for the using of Tax Credits towards the cost of education in Higher Educational Institutions, and partial exemption of Credit Repayments for several categories of citizens with children.

 

Committee Members included the amendment providing that, 'young people without children shall pay for credit at an Annual interest rate of three percent. Citizens with one child shall be relieved of interest charges for credit, and those having two children shall have credit charges paid out of Budget funds'.

 

According to the Bill, they will have '25 per cent of credit commitments repaid. Those citizens with three and more children will repay 50 percent of their credit commitments.

 

Furthermore, ' the procedure for granting long-term Tax Credits to young people towards Higher Education, and their interest repayments using their Tax privileges will be laid down by The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine'.
