The workgroup members were Deputy Chairperson of the Committee Yulii Mamchur and member of the Committee Dmytro Tymchuk, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Sector, Defense Ministry, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior Affairs, and the UkrOboronProm state-run concern.
The meeting participants discussed the issue of determination of specific terms (notions) in the field of weaponry, military and special machinery.
Particular attention was paid to the necessity for the application of methodological approaches to the notions that have certain defects and their legislating. In particular, they touched the notions of "military weapons," "military machinery," and "special machinery."
The workgroup members stressed the necessity for the speediest adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On defense order."
