In particular, a number of committee meetings took place on March 28 - April 1:
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis the adapted draft law on vegetation plantations in cities and other population centers;
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction ruled that the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to stimulation of employment of disabled people) was not in line with the anticorruption legislation;
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education eyed the issues aimed at solving critical situation with career and technical education in Ukraine;
The members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense eyed the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to toughening responsibility of servicemen and some other persons) and recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt its as a basis;
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law "On electric energy market of Ukraine;"
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice supported the appeal of the Prosecutor General's Office submitted by the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on giving consent for and arrest of two judges. The Committee also considered the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to introduction of the system of automated arrest within civil and economic judicial procedures) and recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt it as a basis;
The members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations considered the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to harmonization of the legislation on preventing and counteraction to discrimination with the law of the European Union) and recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt it in second reading and in principle; etc.
