During her business trip to Lviv on February 24 the Chairperson of the Committee on Science and Education took part in the V International Conference "What kind of school should be...," organized by the NGO School of Dreams.
More than 100 participants of the conference were discussing the issue of education reform and were searching for ways out of today's problems in education.
Lilia Hrynevych presented to conference participants novelties and basic principles of the draft law "On Education," which is currently finalized in the Committee for further submission to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the repeated first reading.
Also the Chairperson of the Committee took part in the round table on the topic "New model of work of psychological, medical and pedagogical consultation service: efficiently, professionally and in the interests of children," organized by the NGO Batky Dzherela in cooperation with the Ukrainian Catholic University.
During the round table presented was a new for Ukraine model of work of psychological, medical and pedagogical consultation service, which is dedicated to enable children with disabilities to receive high-quality help in time, professionally and individually.
The Chairperson of the Committee presented to the participants of the event articles of the draft law "On Education" concerning inclusive education and psychological service and social-pedagogical patronage in the education system.
