During the meeting they examined:
- Appeal of people's deputy of Ukraine, chairperson of the subcommittee on international cooperation and implementation of anti-corruption legislation Leschenko S.A. concerning inaction of officials of the prosecutor's office during the investigation of criminal proceedings initiated against the purchase of backpacks for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine through corruption schemes;
- Appeal of the Association of IT Companies of Ukraine and other enterprises of the branch concerning pressure exerted by the fiscal and law enforcement agencies on IT-business in Ukraine.
Having considered the appeal of the Association of IT Companies of Ukraine and other enterprises of the branch, having listened to their representatives concerning exerting pressure by the fiscal and law enforcement agencies on IT-business in Ukraine, and also reports of MPs/members of the Committee on the issue and concerning the appointments in bodies of the Security Service of Ukraine, including the appointment of Budovitskyi A.M. as the head of the Security Service of Ukraine's department in Khmelnytskyi region, the Committee decided:
- To charge people's deputy of Ukraine, chairperson of the subcommittee on international cooperation and implementation of anti-corruption legislation Leschenko S.A. with addressing the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Chairperson of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine concerning presented by the Association of IT Companies of Ukraine facts of misuse of special detachments of law enforcement agencies when conducting certain investigative actions;
- To personally monitor the issue on the well founded nature of involvement of the special task force Alpha during inspections and searches in certain criminal proceedings, which results in abuse of power;
- To charge people's deputy of Ukraine/deputy chairperson of the committee Bereza B.Yu. with analyzing abidance of the current legislation by law enforcement officers during searches and seizure of property and return of seized server equipment to companies Divan TV LLC, Service Online LLC, Stipe Host LLC and of other enterprises of the branch of information and communication technologies.
- Invite Chairperson of the Security Service of Ukraine Hrytsak V.S. to the Committee meeting on March 10, 2016, at 11:00 and discuss the issue of transparency of personnel appointments in the Service, including the appointment of Budovitskyi A.M. as head of the Security Service of Ukraine's department in the Khmelnytskyi region, and holding in his regard of functional check of his job competence and adequacy to the demands of the Law of Ukraine "On government cleansing" and in particular, the requirements of Item 3, Section 4 of Article 3 of this Law.
Also they listened to members of the permanent commission of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine for the competition selection of heads of public sector entities and short-listed candidates for the post of director general of the International Airport Boryspil state enterprise.
Following the discussion of the issue they decided to address the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and recommend to hold a repeat competition for the vacant post of director general of the state enterprise International Airport Boryspil on the principles of openness, transparency and involvement of the public.
