The meeting, which was chaired by the deputy chairperson of the Committee, chairperson of the working group Aliona Babak, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Public Utility Sector, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy Sector and Utilities, the Antimonopoly Committee, the Kyiv city state administration, representatives of branch associations, associations of trade unions, public institutions and international experts.
During the meeting they discussed conceptual issues set out in Chapter III "Payment for housing and public utility services" of the draft law No.1581-d.
As they have several conceptual issues needing further discussion in order to develop a coordinated standing, a separate decision was made to devote next meetings of the working group to discussion of separate blocks of questions.
In particular, they decided to hold meetings according to the following schedule:
March 1, 2016 at 10:00 - Devices of utilities metering, their maintenance, payment for installation and maintenance;
March 3, 2016 at 10:00 - Services for managing apartment blocks, rights and duties of managers, their reward;
March 10, 2016 at 10:00 - Solid household waste management, selection of performers, unit of metering, quality of services.
The Committee invites specialists and experts - representatives of NGOs, associations, condominium associations to participate in future meetings of the working group to be held according to the set schedule in the premises of the Committee at 8 Instytutska Street, Kyiv, room 104.
