The Committee members considered the draft law No. 2225a at their meeting on February 3.
The draft law offers legislative improvement of the mechanism of protection of heritage properties and traditional environment of historical and cultural reserves.
The draft law offers to limit construction around the conservation areas.
The document also offers to ban the activity, which has negative influence or may affect the status of preservation of heritage property or its part.
Respective amendments are offered to the Law of Ukraine "On regulation of city planning activity," Land Code of Ukraine, Penal Code of Ukraine, and Administrative Offences Code of Ukraine.
