The Agreement between the Ukrainian Government and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on the status of the NATO Office in Ukraine was signed in Kyiv on September 22, 2015.
It takes effect from the date when the Ukrainian Government informs about completion of all its internal procedures required to enact the Agreement.
In compliance with Article 2 of the Agreement, NATO establishes its Representation Office, which consists of the NATO Communication Office and the NATO Information and Documentation Center.
The Representation Office has to facilitate and expand Ukraine's participation in all events within the framework of cooperation with NATO.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 0082.
