During the third session the Committee held 16 meetings as at January 20, 2016, where it considered 985 issues.
During the session the Committee prepared for the parliament's consideration 36 draft laws, in which the Committee was defined as the principal, including 15 draft laws on amendments to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015," 20 draft laws on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine, and one draft resolution on other budget issues.
The Committee prepared comparative tables for the consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the second reading of four draft laws on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during the third session adopted 15 laws of Ukraine, three resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada, which had been preliminary examined by the Committee, namely:
- five laws on amendments to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015” (Nos. 680-VIII, 704-VIII, 807-VIII, 906-VIII, 915-VIII);
- nine laws on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine (Nos. 666-VIII, 700-VIII, 714-VIII, 732-VIII, 791-VIII, 836-VIII, 837-VIII, 914-VIII, 918-VIII);
- one law - on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016 (No. 928-VIII);
- three resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada: "On ensuring financial stability in Ukraine in the framework of the implementation of the International Monetary Fund’s Extended Fund Facility program” No. 703-VIII, "On peculiarities of the procedure of consideration and adoption of the draft law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016" No. 897-VIII, and "On peculiarities of the procedure of consideration of draft laws having relation to the adoption of the draft law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016" No. 896-VIII.
In order to fulfill Articles 27 and 109 of the Budget Code and Article 93 of the Verkhovna Rada regulations the Committee examined 847 draft laws on their influence on the budget indicators and compliance with laws regulating budgetary relations, which ended in provision of corresponding conclusions to the relevant Committees. At that the Committee provided proposals to 63 draft laws on bringing them in line with the budget legislation.
In accordance with Articles 23, 24-1 and 108 of the Budget Code of Ukraine the Committee processed 77 appeals of main administrators of state budget funds concerning approval of the transfer of budget allocations, redistribution of state budget expenditures, and distribution / redistribution of transfers from the state budget to local budgets, 69 of which the Committee agreed pursuant to the decisions adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
During the reporting period the Committee processed 3,285 appeals, letters, proposals, findings and other correspondence.
