The Committee members discussed the information announced at the Committee meeting on January 14, 2016 that touched the implementation of the law on introduction of the e-declaration system as new system of financial control over public servants.
The people's deputies also eyed the draft law No. 3755 "On amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On fighting corruption" (as to functioning of e-system of submission and promulgation of declarations of persons authorized to perform functions of the state or local self-government).
Having discussed major principles, provisions, criteria of the draft law, the Committee ruled that the draft law meets the requirements of the anticorruption legislation, and recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt it as a basis and in principle.
Following the provisions of Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "On fighting corruption," the people's deputies decided to launch acceptance of proposals on candidacies for the seats of the tender commission for selection of head for the National Asset Crimes Agency from non-government organizations engaged in anticorruption activity.
In compliance with the decision of the Committee, the candidates have to possess perfect reputation in the field of fighting corruption and persuasive experience in public activity.
The proposals are accepted until February 1, 2016.
