The first almost two tens of certificates on participation in the 18-hour training "Presentations and their role in communication with the public" in the framework of training under the program "Improving the level of ICT competence of employees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat" were handed over to employees of the Information Office, the Supervision Office and the Press Service of the Parliament’s Secretariat.
A series of education trainings initiated by the Information Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat, is carried out by the Centre of Business Technologies Development under the Intel Education Initiatives with the support of the World Bank country office in Ukraine. The purpose of the trainings is to increase the level of knowledge and use of modern information technologies in the field of public relations.
The training participants learned about the principles of using presentations as a means of communication and coverage of the governing body activities, methods and tools for creation of a presentation on the topic "Report on the performance of the division, committee, people’s deputy, etc.," requirements to the presentation and secrets of its success.
The employees of the Secretariat learned how to create typical presentations of legislative initiatives, to analyze and evaluate presentations from the point of view of the public.
Working in small groups and individually, the training participants learned the practical aspects of using modern cloud information technologies for creation of presentations with graphic and numerical data. Among the tasks was also the modeling of reporting to the public about the activities of the state government bodies through effective presentation tools and implementation of new technologies for planning activities of the training participants.
