The Law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 15, 2015.
The Law offers to set criminal responsibility for the violation of legislation in the field of confirmation of conformity, production, manufacture, sale, acquisition of products, works and services in military sector (new Article 1142 of the Penal Code of Ukraine).
The Law takes in account the proposal of the President of Ukraine touching agreement of terms of enactment for terms on introduction of criminal responsibility for the violation of the legislation in the said field.
The Items 1 and 2 of Chapter II Final Provisions of the Law of Ukraine are put in the following wording:
"1. This Law takes effect in a month from the day of its promulgation, except for Item 2 if this Section, which takes effect on the day of promulgation of this Law.
2. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is given a month to take measures to improve the national system of standardization of defense products, as well as the products of materiel support for military formations."
Respective draft law was registered under No. 1793.
