The European Integration Committee recommends that Parliament approves the State Budget 2008 in its entirety

This decision was taken today at the Committee meeting by a majority of votes. The Committee Chairman, Borys Tarasiuk, stated that 'This document,  which is of vital importance for our State, is being considered in the extreme conditions.'

 

At the same time, the Committee members decided to submit a proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers concerning changes in the accounting procedure for the expenditures towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration. They also recommend that the Government revises the structure of expenditures in the State Budget, since   additional inquires to the relevant executive authorities are required to obtain information on the amount of  funding of said sectors.
