The legislative act envisages strengthening of guarantees of protection of the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons, simplification of procedures of such persons registration.
The Law takes into account the proposal of the President of Ukraine to determine the authority (officials), which will be charged with unveiling facts of the absence of internally displaced persons at the place of residence and confirming information about their relocation in Ukraine, and the mechanism of verification of this information and the fact of long-term absence of internally displaced persons at the place residence.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2166.
