The Law amends Section 3, Article 59 of the Law of Ukraine "On local self-government in Ukraine". The amendments envisage that resolutions of local councils shall be adopted through open individual voting, except for cases when the legislation foresees secret voting (like elections to posts in local councils, no-confidence vote). They envisage that results of individual voting shall be published and provided following enquiries pursuant to Law of Ukraine "On access to public information." They envisage that results of all cases of individual voting shall be posted on official website of local councils and shall be stored there for unlimited time. Results of individual voting shall be an integral element of a protocol of sessions of local councils.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2016а.
