The Committee members heard six of 17 candidates from deputy factions, groups as well as self-nominees. In particular, the Committee members heard candidates from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party — Stanyslav Arzhevitin and Viktor Kapustin; from the Volia Narodu deputy group — Artemii Yershov; from Verkhovna Rada deputy Ruslan Demchak — Yurii Blaschuk and Viktor Koziuk; as well as self-nominee — Vitalii Lomakovych.
"The Committee will soon elaborate respective draft resolution as it's high time to finalize the process of NBU Council formation," Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Financial Policy and Banking Serhii Rybalka said.
Rybalka noted that the meeting to finalize public selection of candidates for the NBU Council will continue at 14:30, November 25.
On Wednesday, the Committee will offer its recommendations based on final discussion and open rating voting for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada.
