The draft law aims to improve the mechanism of formation of major indicators of State Defense Order.
The draft law offers to:
introduce system of formation of the draft major indicators of State Defense Order for three-year period;
urge the Cabinet of Ministers to approve the draft major indicators of State Defense Order within a month from the day of enactment of the Law of Ukraine "On State Defense Order" for respective year;
envision that procurement of weapons and military hardware, military weaponry and ammunition for it, as well as the upgrade and repair should be rendered only under the State Defense Order;
urge the authorized body to provide explanations as to application of the law in the field of State Defense Order;
allow state customers to launch selection of executors before approval of major indicators of State Defense Order;
specify the notion of "state customers;"
exclude invalid Law of Ukraine "On State Defense Order for satisfaction of top-priority state needs" from the list of legislative acts, which are the legal ground for the defense order.
Respective amendments are offered to Law of Ukraine "On State Defense Order."
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2090а.
