Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman will insist on the speediest holding of local election in those population centers of Donbas where the election did not take place on October 25.
"Every citizen of Ukraine has the right to vote. It is very important to enable Ukrainian citizens to exercise that right without any obstacles, in a democratic and transparent way," Groysman said.
"I insist on holding of such election as soon as possible," Groysman said.
According to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, one draft law and one Resolution on the said issue has been registered at the Ukrainian Parliament. "Let's see what the conclusions of the Committee will be, what the ideas of the deputies will be during the preparation of the documents for voting. The most important is to ensure technical possibility of the election on that territory," he said.
