The meeting took place on October 28.
Other participants of the meeting were heads of the Defense Ministry, Security Service of Ukraine, Foreign Affairs Ministry, Economic Development and Trade Ministry and Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, which were competent in attraction and use of international aid to enhance defense capacity of our state. Besides, the participants were representatives of foreign diplomatic delegation taking the most active part in assisting to our state in the most strategic issues.
During the meeting its participants closely analyzed the state of international cooperation between Ukraine, leading countries and international organizations engaged in enhancement of the defense capacity of Ukraine in conditions of Russia's aggression. Particular attention was paid to effective coordination of international cooperation between state bodies of Ukraine and foreign partners on the way to consolidation of defense capacity of our country. The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada Committees expressed readiness to support initiatives aimed at intensification of attraction of international assistance to Ukraine in a form of military and technical aid (non-lethal weapons), humanitarian cargoes (medicines and medical equipment), through financing of training and increase of combat power of Ukrainian servicemen and medical treatment/rehabilitation of servicemen/victims of the anti-terror operation.
At the end of the meeting, its participants agreed to further improve coordination of activity between Ukraine and international partners.
