The Secretariat of the Committee said the delegation's visit was mainly dedicated to the studying the situation in Ukraine inter alia taking in account the factor of Russian aggression, as well as to the studying information about actual needs in promotion of issues important for Ukraine within the Danish establishment.
The participants of the meeting exchanged opinions as to a number of issues important for Ukraine. Olena Masorina informed representatives of the Danish delegation about the course of reforms in Ukraine, in particular, the creation of new police and prosecutor's office.
Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze pointed out the importance of providing support to Ukraine.
Semerak presented Ukraine's plans as to the settlement of the situation in Donbas and noted that at present, the most important task is to organize and protect the control over the Ukrainian-Russian border, and to provide support to migrants, who are left without work and housing.
