Address of Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs on possible visits of European Parliament members to temporarily occupied territory of Autonomous Republic of Crimea

"We members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee
on Foreign Affairs address our colleagues from the Foreign Affairs Committee of
the European Parliament, and express our strong protest in view of intention of
some deputies of the national parliaments of the EU member countries and
members of the European Parliament to visit temporarily occupied and annexed by
the Russian Federation territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
We
would also like to ask friendly Foreign Affairs Committee of the European
Parliament and personally Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the
European Parliament Elmar Brok to take measures and make all required efforts
to persuade the European lawmakers to retain clear and principled position as
to the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea."
