The meeting of July 17 was dedicated to the discussion of the course and prospects of development of the Ukrainian-Irish dialogue in conditions of further aggression of the Russian Federation upon Ukraine, implementation of joint efforts of the European Union as to its termination, as well as provision of required EU's assistance to Ukraine.
Ukrainian representatives thanked Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland Charles Flanagan for his personal active part in the process of liberation of Ukrainian political prisoners, first of all, Ukrainian officer and Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadiya Savchenko, who is still illegally kept in custody by law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation.
