Verkhovna Rada Committee for Social Policy, Employment and Pension Coverage holds hearings in town of Sloviyansk in Donetsk region

The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Social Policy, Employment and Pension Coverage has held hearings in the town of Sloviyansk (Donetsk region) entitled "Status and settlement of problems of social protection of population, integration of forced migrants through socioeconomic restoration of Donbas."

The Committee hearings took place on June 12 and its participants were people's deputies, representatives of central executive bodies, regional state administrations and non-government organizations.

As a result of the hearings, the Committee recommended that the Verkhovna Rada urgently consider the draft law No. 2166 "On introduction of amendments into some Laws of Ukraine as to strengthening of guarantees of protection of rights and freedoms of internally-displaced persons" in second reading and intensify the consideration of a number of other draft laws.

The Committee also recommended that the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Social Policy urgently take measures to settle all the issues discussed at the hearings.
