PABSEC General Assembly confirms mandates for Ukrainian delegation

According to Chair of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Liudmyla Denisova, on the first day of work of the PABSEC on June 9 its participants confirmed mandates for the Ukrainian delegation.

The first discussed issue was the verification of mandates for the members of the Ukrainian delegation as this was their first participation in the meeting of the General Assembly.

Before the consideration of the second issue — confirmation of the mandate for representative of the Russian delegation, members of the Ukrainian and Georgian delegations called on the meeting participants not to back Russia's candidacy.

However, unfortunately, most of the participants backed confirmation of the mandate for Russian representative.

On June 10, the PABSEC planned to hold a press conference for international mass media organizations.
