People's deputies take part in work of Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Tokyo (Japan)

On May 27, Tokyo launched the Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians taking place under the aegis of the Parliament of Japan and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

The event is aimed at the finding ways to cooperate among young politicians as to resumption of partner relations in favor of the development and further settlement of numerous global challenges of nowadays — poverty, discrimination, migration, climate change, access to health care, conflicts, barriers on the way to education and employment.

Particular attention will be paid to the consideration of the ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and Japan on assistance and protection of investments (respective draft law was registered under No. 0020).

On June 3, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Foreign Affairs will eye this draft law for further ratification of the said Agreement by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
