Verkhovna Rada Committee for State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government holds hearings on "Issues of temporarily occupied territory of Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol"

Participants of the meeting heard the following issues: political-legal, socioeconomic and humanitarian consequences of temporary occupation of the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol; legal support to and exercising of rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens, legal interests of legal entities and state in conditions of temporary occupation of the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol; ways to reintegrate the occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Following the results of the hearings, the next meeting of the Committee will validate hearing recommendations, which, in words of the event participants, "are destined to trigger efforts to return temporarily occupied territories under the jurisdiction of our state."
