This plenary week the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will have to eye a number of important legislative initiatives in the field of reformation of law enforcement system, local self-government, consolidation of state's defense capacity and cooperation with global financial institutions.

This was announced by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman at the opening of the Coordination board's meeting on Monday, May 18.

In particular, Groysman said the agenda of the meetings envisages consideration of three draft laws on reformation of local self-government.
