The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law “On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to consolidation of guarantees of legal professional activity of journalists.”
The legislative act envisions introduction of additional security guarantees for journalists in particular, toughens criminal responsibility for crimes against journalists.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 0924.
