The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law “On introduction of amendments into Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine as to order of temporary seizure of property and searches.”
The legislative act introduces obligation of an investigator, a prosecutor or another authorized person to provide a copy of protocol for a search and temporary seizure of property.
Respective amendments were introduced into Section 3 of Article 168 “Order of temporary seizure of property” and Article 236 “Use of permit to hold a search at residential or other types of property” of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2181.
