Head of Verkhovna Rada Committee for Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Viktor Halasiuk meets with experts of Jacobs Cordova and Associates company

The working meeting was dedicated to holding of regulatory reforms in Ukraine.

Partner of the Jacobs Cordova and Associates company Scott Jacobs (the United States) and expert Tigran Sukiasyan (Armenia) presented achievements in the field of regulatory reforms the company is engaged in and expressed their vision of favorable conditions for business in Ukraine.

Scott Jacobs is one of the world’s leading experts in “regulatory guillotine.” He has experience in introduction of regulatory reforms in over 100 countries and his company has led in the said field for already 15 years. According to Viktor Halasiuk, the Government plans to invite this expert to settle problems in the regulatory sector.

The Head of the Committee told about the success in creation of legislative grounds to achieve that goal.

Scott Jacobs said that “regulatory guillotine” and reformation of the regulatory sector is not a panacea and can give some visible effect only in a complex with effective investment, industrial, tax, credit and monetary and other policies aimed at the growth of the Ukrainian economy.

Viktor Halasiuk promised Scott Jacobs Committee’s strong support in improvement of conditions for entrepreneurship, especially for small and mid-sized business.
