In particular, the document rules that the protection and recreation of Ukraine’s Red Book species is provided by state authorities, local authorities, individuals and legal entities engaged in use of wild and plant life, own species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, own and use land plots rare species and species at risk of extinction live on, species put on the Red Book of Ukraine.
The Law bans using bears and wolves at hunting and test stations, in tests, examinations and competitions of hunting dogs, use of animals in bullfights, creation and operation of mobile wild beast shows, mobile zoos and animal exhibitions, and operation of dolphinariums without natural sea water.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 0917.
