The draft law offers to authorize the Defense Ministry of Ukraine to elaborate and approve samples of military uniform, samples of special clothes, footwear and equipment of servicemen, individual protection means and other belongings for all military formations, general requirements to military insignia.
In compliance with the draft law, rules of wearing military uniform, samples of military insignia, rules and terms of material support of servicemen will be validated by respective central executive bodies having subordinated military formations, Security Service of Ukraine, State Guard Department of Ukraine, and the External Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
The draft law envisions that the order of monetary compensation of cost for not received uniform property will be set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The draft law also offers to cancel patenting of articles of uniform servicemen are provided with, as patenting of samples of such property today in fact is not taking place due to high costthe process and long terms of implementation and as a result, leads to inclusion of patent cost into the price of commodity by its producer.
The draft law envisions setting of a transitional period for use of existing samples of military uniform and other clothes obtained as humanitarian or charity aid.
