PLENARY MEETING OF THE SECOND SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS HELD ON TUESDAY, 8 JULY
At the beginning of the morning meeting, representatives of the Deputy Factions presented their appeals, reports and motions.
Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reported on the results of the meeting of the leaders of Deputy Factions concerning schedule of the meetings of The Verkhovna Rada for the current plenary week. A.Yatseniuk also informed the People´s Deputies about the signatures collected due to the demand of the Coalition. Thus, 155 People´s Deputies of Ukraine signed the said resolution of non-confidence.
According to A.Yatseniuk, the resolution on responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was submitted, notwithstanding the legal grounds available for consideration of the said issue.
Then A.Yatseniuk stated that pursuant to the effective legislation, the issue concerning responsibility of the government should be considered by the profile parliamentary committees, which failed to be done.
Then the Chairman announced a recess in the plenary meeting due to the request of the two Factions, namely, the Party of Regions and the CPU.
After the recess, A.Yatseniuk announced another recess due to the appeal of the BYuT and "Our Ukraine People´s Self-Defense" Factions.
During the recess, the representatives of the BYuT Faction blocked the Presidium, the Lectern, and the Government Box.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine underscored the lack of political compromise. The Chairman declared the meeting closed.
