MORNING PLENARY MEETING OF THE SECOND SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, 19 JUNE
Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, opened the sitting, invited the leaders of Factions to the meeting at the cabinet of the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada, and announced a recess.
During the recess, the deputies of the BYuT Faction blocked the Presidium and the lectern.
After the recess, A.Yatseniuk stated that the meeting of the leaders of Factions was closed. He proposed three possible ways out of the situation: to increase the number of votes necessary to adopt resolutions; to create a new coalition after the resolution of the Constitutional Court; or restore the format of "an old coalition" and hold early parliamentary elections.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems necessary to continue political dialogue. "It is suspended at present", - stated the Chairman and declared the morning meeting closed.
