ON WEDNESDAY, 18 JUNE, THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE CONTINUED ITS PLENARY WORK
The morning plenary meeting was opened with the reports, motions and appeals of the People´s Deputies.
Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reported on entry of Volodymyr Danylenko, People´s Deputy of Ukraine, into the CPU Deputy Faction.
The Chairman commented on the efficient activity of Ukrainian Parliament of the sixth Convocation that adopted 292 acts. A.Yatseniuk compared quantitative results of several European parliaments. Thus, German parliament adopts 200 acts a year, Polish parliament 100, and French parliament 65 legislative acts.
Then the Chairman announced scrutiny of the first Bill on enhancement of the prestige of miners´ work. Mykhailo Volynets, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety, reported on the Bill. He dwelled upon its regulations, and stated that the Committee resolved to forward the Bill for the repeated First Reading.
However, the Bill was rejected due to the results of voting.
Then the People´s Deputies discussed the Bill on social dialogue in Ukraine.
The Bill on social dialogue in Ukraine was rejected due to the results of voting. The Factions of the Party of Regions, the CPU and the Lytvyn Bloc failed to take part in voting.
At the end of the morning meeting the People´s Deputies discussed the Draft Resolution on the procedure of establishment and formation of the rate of a living wage.

The Chairman appealed to the People´s Deputies with a request to continue their work at the Committees, and declared the meeting closed.
