Please, accept my sincere greetings on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the ancient Udech, one of the oldest towns of the Carpathian region.
The blessed and blossoming land between the rivers of Stryi and Dnister, praised by poets, is famous for its historical and cultural monuments since olden times. However, its citizens, who make their town better and wealthier by working selflessly and overcoming the present day problems, have always been and will always be the main treasure of Zhydachiv.
May this holiday unite all generations of citizens, may it come into every home, warm people’s hearts and fill them with love and pride for their town.
