The law determines legal and organizational principles of the procedure
of lustrating the authorities from persons determined by this law, in view of
strengthening the rule of law, lawfulness, and increasing efficiency of fight against
corruption.

The law aims at restoring trust in the authorities and establishing conditions for the development of a new system of government in line with the European standards.
The law was adopted with consideration of amendments.
