Committee members noted that the suggested changes can lead to inactivity in the part of financial support by local self-government bodies and local state administrations.
However, the Committee noted also that amendments suggested by the authors aim at preserving public works and are being organized to ensure additional incentives, performance motivation and financial support to the unemployed and other categories of persons that perform public works on a voluntary basis.
Committee members decided to cancel the Committee’s decision of May 15, 2013 on rejection of the bill and recommend the Verkhovna Rada adopt it as a basis and in entirety.
